GHOAT LAB — Applied Game R&D Division
Independent R&D micro‑studio for human‑piloted, AI‑assisted game systems.

G.H.O.A.T. — Greatest Hits Of ALL TECH
GHOAT LABORATORIES Inc. is a Canadian remote‑first micro‑studio focused on gameplay systems, production tooling, and tightly scoped interactive prototypes for independent teams and R&D partners. We combine technical R&D with hands‑on game development to build playable mechanics, AI‑assisted workflows, and modular pipelines that support small‑team production while preserving creative control.

What We Do
Gameplay Systems & Prototyping
We design and build mechanics‑focused gameplay prototypes with an emphasis on readability, control feel, technical feasibility, and sustainable production scope.
AI Runner
Internal AI‑assisted workflows and support tooling designed to accelerate iteration, reduce repetitive production tasks, and support small‑team development without replacing creative authorship or decision‑making.
Co‑Development & Technical Support
GHOAT LAB collaborates with studios and independent teams on gameplay systems, technical design, prototyping, production workflows, and applied R&D support.
Philosophy
Clarity Over Complexity
Readable systems, understandable interactions, and focused scope create stronger gameplay and more sustainable production.
Reproducible Development
Pipelines and workflows should reduce ambiguity, improve iteration speed, and remain maintainable as projects evolve.
Human‑Piloted, AI‑Assisted
AI is treated as production support—not replacement authorship. Tools should help developers move faster while preserving creative intent and decision‑making.

PROJECTS
OFFROAD Recovery: Yoho Trails
OFFROAD Recovery is a terrain‑focused prototype centered on vehicle extraction in unstable off‑road environments. The experience emphasizes traction, terrain resistance, winch tension, and deliberate vehicle control rather than speed, combat, or open‑world scale.
Current development is focused on tightly scoped prototype validation, mechanical readability, and cross‑platform feasibility for constrained hardware and small‑team production.
AI Runner
AI Runner is an internal R&D initiative exploring practical AI‑assisted production workflows for game development.
The project focuses on modular tooling, workflow automation, production support systems, and repeatable pipelines that help designers, artists, and developers iterate more efficiently during active production.
The goal is not full automation, but practical integration that supports human decision‑making and creative control.
WET Tilda
An internal codename for an original game concept in early R&D. Details remain restricted while the project undergoes systems exploration, prototyping, and feasibility testing.
Applied R&D
GHOAT LAB maintains a focused set of internal experiments exploring gameplay systems, procedural support tools, production workflows, and modular prototyping frameworks.
These initiatives inform future development, pipeline refinement, and collaborative technical support work.
